Christopher Koob

Christopher Koob, Principal. Christopher Koob is a political professional with over 20 years of experience in campaigns and political committees at the local, state and national levels. During his college years at the University of Connecticut, Mr. Koob got involved in local politics, which inspired an internship at the Connecticut State Capitol. After graduation, he began working in state government, but quickly realized that his interest was on the campaign trail. Mr. Koob managed several races in the late 1990s including his first Congressional race in 1998 in Connecticut. From there he began working for then Senator Joseph Lieberman and in 2000 when Mr. Lieberman was nominated by Al Gore to be the Vice Presidential Nominee, Mr. Koob left Connecticut to join the national campaign. When the campaign was over, Mr. Koob stayed in Washington DC for 11 years, working on various presidential campaigns and with national party committees including working directly for or as a consultant to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. In 2011, Mr. Koob moved with his wife and two children to San Antonio, TX where he started his own political consulting firm. The firm provides campaign services and political consulting to a number of local, state and national candidates and committees which is today known as the Koob Consulting Group (KCG). KCG has a strategic partnership with MBA Consulting Group where together they provide campaign strategy in addition to compliance, operational support and financial management.
